RECIPE
You will need:
3 Tbs (30g) spices for Garam Masala
2 Tbs almond flakes
3 tsp salt
1kg minced meat (lamb or beef)
1 beaten egg
1 tsp green chillies paste (optional)
1 Tbs ginger paste
2 Tbs garlic paste
2 big onions, chopped
1 small tin of fresh Cream
1 Tbs lemon juice
Cooking oil
Chopped fresh mint and coriander
Method:
Mix meat evenly with ginger, garlic, chillies, onions, coriander, mint, spices for Garam Masala, lemon juice, egg, almond and cream. Salt to taste (if needed).
Mix all ingredients to obtain a thick mixture.
Wet fingers with water and shape the paste into round koftas.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and roast the koftas on all sides.
Serve as a starter or as a snack with chilli and garlic sauce or mint chutney or serve as a main dish with potatoes or Gratin de Chouchou.
