Chicken Nems

INGREDIENTS

– 6 Stalks of chopped onion stems
– 3 Chopped mushrooms
– 2 Cloves of garlic, chopped
– 1 Large onion, chopped
– 1 Grated carrot
– 500g of chicken meat
– Chinese Vermicelli
– 1 Egg yolk
– 20g of fish sauce
– 8 Sheets of rice paper

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Soak the vermicelli in hot water for 10 minutes, drain and chop.
Step 2:  Add all the other ingredients to the vermicelli and mix well.
Step 3: Soften a sheet of rice in warm water and place it on a towel.
Step 4: Put a little filling in the center of the rice sheet and roll and fold it to form a nem.
Step 5: Fry the nems for 10 minutes.

 

The Chef’s special touch: Serve with salad and mint leaves.
