Description
Surface Preparation:
Ensure surfaces are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and any other contaminants before painting. Seal with Mauvilac Clear Emulsion Binder on powdery or absorbent surfaces to get a sound surface for proper adhesion of Proflon. For panel wood or ceiling boards, apply Mauvilac Wood Primer, then sand down the surface and dust off prior to painting.
Application Method:
Apply three coats by roller or brush onto clean, dry and sealed surface. Can be applied using airless or low pressure spray equipment. Dilution is not necessary. One litre will cover between 8 and 10 m2 of surface in one coat. Approximately 30 minutes to touch dry, can be over-coated after approximately 3 hours. Proflon will develop its full hydrophobic properties after 36 hours. It is therefore recommended not to exceed 36 hours before recoating. After this period, it might be necessary to sand down slightly before applying the next coat.
