RECIPE
You will need:
2½ Tbs (25g) Spices for Keema
1 tsp turmeric powder
400g minced meat
100g fried potato (cut in 3 cm chunks)
100g green peas
3 tomatoes, diced
2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp ginger paste
1 large onion, sliced
Cooking oil
Curry leaves
Fenugreek leaves (methi) (optional)
Chopped fresh coriander
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, sauté the onion and curry leaves.
Add-in minced meat, a little of water, stir very well and cover pan to allow cooking for 15 minutes.
Add-in garlic and ginger, stir well.
Add-in spices for Keema and turmeric, stir well. Cover pan and allow cooking for few minutes more.
Add-in tomatoes and cook on low flame for about 10 minutes.
Add-in potatoes, green peas, and mix well.
Off fire, sprinkle with fenugreek and coriander leaves.
Serve with rice or bread / salad.
