Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS

List of ingredients:

For the cream:

50g of sugar

4 eggs

200g of fresh cream

60g of almond powder

Essence of bitter almonds

For the apples:

3 apples: 1 cut into cubes, 2 cut into 4 to 6 pieces

40g of butter

50g of sugar

Others:

Cinnamon

Powdered sugar

400g of sweetened pastry (sold in shops) 

INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation of the recipe:

Step 1

Roll out the pastry to a thickness of 3 mm in the pie dish and keep it in a cool place.

Step 2

Melt the butter and the sugar, when the sugar starts to become golden, add the apple cubes, caramelize them and set aside.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients of the cream well except the almond powder and reserve.

Step 4

Garnish the bottom of the pie with the diced apples and then with the slices.

Step 5

Add the almond powder to the cream mixture and pour into the tart pan, leaving the apple pieces slightly visible, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Step 6

Bake the tart for about 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C. The tart should be golden brown.

Sprinkle again with powdered sugar for decoration.
